Traditional Confectionery of Nagano since the 19th Century

About the Shop

Our shop is located just a 2-minute walk from Ueda Station and was built as the main store of Iijima Shoten.
From the time this building was constructed in 1924 to the present day, that store has been a landmark symbolizing Ueda Station.
In 2007,our shop was registered as a tangible cultural property and became famous sight-seeing spot in Ueda City.
The shop Stony-like walls, iron fences and chandeliers represent gorgeousness of European culture, and calmness of Japanese style.
Through many collections of antiques in the shop, which were selected by the seventh-generation head who loved both European and Oriental antiques. We are still searching for the ideal style that suits our store.

Please enjoy shopping in our shop.
